The mission of the „Finance and Banking” programme is to educate students in the financial and banking fields through teaching the theoretical basis, developing practical and research abilities which would be valued on the labor market and thus ensure the study continuation at the graduate programs and/or post graduate studies taking into account the ever-changing economic field.

The major goals of the „Finance and Banking” are:

• Gaining knowledge, forming personal skills and professional competences; 
• Combining aspects of the theoretical knowledge and cultivating skills that are in line with reality in the banking and financial fields;
• Structuring the educational approach based on the concept of „Learn by doing” and the development of practical skills;
• Capitalizing on modern training techniques, including creativity development;
• Developing and maintaining the culture of continuous learning and innovation;
• Identifying opportunities for professional and personal development to accommodate both the needs and interests of the students and the needs and professional development of the professors and researchers.

Students who graduates with a major in „Finance and Banking” are being hired by the National Bank of Moldova, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economics and Digitalization, The National Commission for the Financial Markets, the Court of Auditors in the Republic of Moldova, the National Tax Office, The Customs Service, commercial banks, insurance companies, audit companies, national and international corporations, thus successfully integrating into the labor market.
