The Faculty of Finance has its roots in the formation of the Chair of Finance and Credit of the State University of Moldova on September 16th in 1957 and in 1991 it became a very strong faculty within ASEM. Currently the Faculty of Finance is an important component of ASEM and has a leading position in training of professionals in the most important fields of national economy such as: banking, investments, insurance, public finance, taxation, business finance, capital markets, foreign financial relations, etc.

Apart from its prestige within an institution of higher economic education that has been sustained by many generations of teachers and students, this faculty aims to provide professionals for the field of Public Finance, Corporate Financial Management, Banking Management, Investments, Capital Markets, Insurance and Taxation.
