FACULTY OF INTERNATIONAL ECONOMIC RELATIONS

In 1990 was formed a group of students, studying economics in French within the Faculty of Economics of the State University of Moldova. The Faculty of International Economic Relations was established on September 1, 1994, teaching courses in French, English and German.

The Faculty of IER is the first in training specialists in the field of international economic relations, gaining the richest experience in this field.

Currently, more than 85% of courses at the Bachelor level, Cycle I, are taught in English or French. Bachelor graduates obtain a Bachelor Degree in Economics and a Certificate of English or French language interpreter.

Students studying at the Francophone program have the opportunity to be awarded a Diploma of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris.

The Student Scientific Debate Club “Economic Way of Thinking” is aimed at devel oping analytical skills and critical thinking of students, helping them to acquire the ability to speak freely in public, to carry out relevant scientific research.

The students are divided into two programs, according to the language of instruction: English and French. The faculty publishes two newsletters: in French “REI Francophone” and in English: “REI-Action”. Annual “Festival of REI stars” is organized by students. The academic staff consists of teachers from various chairs of ASEM but also visiting professors from France, Romania, Germany, the USA, the UK, Russia, Poland, Italy etc.
