GENERAL INFORMATION |
Foreign citizens wishing to apply for studies to the Academy of Economic Studies in Moldova must submit to the ASEM International Relations Office in electronic format, the following set of documents:
In order to be admitted to PhD Studies, it is also necessary to submit the Bachelor's and Master's Degree Certificates for both and Curriculum Vitae. |
ADMISSION PROCEDURE |
Following the presentation of the set of documents, the International Relations Service will obtain from the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Moldova the letter of acceptance of the studies for each individual candidate. On the basis of the letter of acceptance, the International Relations Service will submit the documents to the Migration and Asylum Office to obtain the invitation to study. After receiving the invitation sent by the International Relations Service, the applicant will submit a visa application to one of the diplomatic missions of the Republic of Moldova abroad. In the meantime, the applicant must send on the bank account of the institution the application fee and the tuition fee for first and last year of studies. If the institution will not receive the fees on its bank account, the applicant will not receive the original Invitation letter from Migration Office and respectively will not be able to apply for visa and come for study. After receiving the visa, the applicant must send a copy of the visa and flight ticket to the International Relations Office. Upon arrival in the Republic of Moldova, the applicant must send all the documents previously sent by e-mail in original, with all necessary legalizations. |
LEGALIZATION OF THE TEMPORARY RESIDENCE OF FOREIGN CITIZENS |
Foreign students must submit the following set of documents to the ASEM International Relations Office: 1. Application form for legalization (filled at the IRO); 2. National Passport and copy of the following copies: · main page (with personal data and photo); · the page with entrance stamp (proving the date and stamp of border crossing) and long stay visa (for candidates that have a visa) 3. Diploma of the latest graduated program that gives the right to be admitted to the next study level and Transcript of Records; Diploma must have an Apostille. 4. Accommodation Proof (home owner’s agreement drafted by notary or the accommodation order in ASEM dormitory); 5. Police certificate from home country with Apostille (validity 3 months); 6. Medical Insurance for 1 year; 7. Bank Certificate stating the availability of necessary amount for the duration of studies (the certificate must contain the amount for tuition fees, staying documents, medical insurance, accommodation and other possible expenses on of the amount necessary for tuition fee, health assurance, accommodation and subsistence). The amount in the Bank Certificate must not be less than 3500 Euro; The amount should be stated in Euro or USD (validity of Certificate – 10 days); 8. 6 photos size 3x4; NOTE: The set of documents mentioned above must be translated into one of the following languages: Romanian. |
