WHY SHOULD YOU CHOOSE “WORLD ECONOMY AND INTERNATIONAL ECONOMIC RELATIONS” AT ASEM?

The mission of the EMREI study program is to train specialists who possess theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of World Economy and International Economic Relations, able to adapt to the exigencies and changes of the national and international economic environment. ASEM is a recognized leader in the field of economic studies and researches in the Republic of Moldova, it forms qualified specialists on the labor market. In addition to the basic economic disciplines (Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Economics of Production Units, Economic and Financial Analysis) specialty disciplines are studied. During the study process, particular attention is paid to the practical aspects of the field of activity. The faculty publishes two newsletters: in French “REI Francophone” and in English: “REI-Action”. Annual “Festival of REI stars” is organized by students. The academic staff consists of teachers from various chairs of ASEM but also visiting professors from France, Romania, Germany, the USA, the UK, Russia, Poland, Italy etc. Students studying at the Francophone program have the opportunity to be awarded a Diploma of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris. The Student Scientific Debate Club “Economic Way of Thinking” is aimed at developing analytical skills and critical thinking of students, helping them to acquire the ability to speak freely in public, to carry out relevant scientific research.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

The admission process follows several easy and clear steps for the admission of candidates. The basic requirements for the students are high motivation, good results of their High School diploma and strong command of English/Russian or Romanian language. ASEM follows strictly the Rules and Regulations issued by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research of the Republic of Moldova.

CURRICULUM

World Economy and International Economic Relations Bachelor’s Degree Program is a full-time program. Classes are scheduled from Monday to Friday, combining theory with practical sessions.
